Marks the areas where SEGEMAR surveyed a flooding event that actually occurred. It is a historical record: it says that it flooded there, not that it is going to flood.

For those who buy, it is information that is difficult to obtain in any other way. A walk-through in a dry year shows nothing, and the seller may not know or mention it.

The coverage is partial: it is covered by leaves and does not cover the entire country. Just because a property is not marked does not prove that it was never flooded.
