It is the tax account number of the parcel: with it the province settles the real estate tax. It is used to identify the property in any procedure and to request a debt report before purchasing.
It is not the same as the cadastral nomenclature. The game is the account; the nomenclature describes the location within the territorial division. A plot has both.
